Creative mixture of topics, diversity of music show. Tuesday's at 1am est. 818-572-8026, Tune In at

It’s been a sad and concerned day across the US and for one reason only. Don Cornelius, the creator of Soul Train died on February 1, 2012 at his home in LA with what seem to be a gunshot wound to the head. Is this a suicide or a homicide?

According to police, Don committed suicide, but honestly, I don’t buy it. There is no way he could’ve killed himself, because I don’t see any reason why he would want to, not unless someone was after him anyway. Don was 75 years old when he died, how many 75 year olds do you see commit suicide? Not a lot, if even that. I believe there is more to this death story and we are yet to find out.

Besides my doubt that this legendary man murdered himself, this Mixture of Arts episode is dedicated specifically to him and the creation that brought hundreds of black stars into the spot light and gave ordinary people like myself the opportunity to show what we’re working with on the dance floor.

And we know how it goes down on Soul Train, there’s a line and there’s soul. Some of Don Cornelius favorite quotes at the end of the show were: “And you can bet your last money, it’s all going to be a stone gas, honey! And I’m Don Cornelius, and as always in parting, we wish you love, peace and soul!”.

During the show, I’d will be giving you some key facts about Don and also, if you have any questions or want to chat with me about Soul Train and your favorite moment, please feel free to call in at 818-572-8026.

Listen to this show at 1am EST 2/2/2012 here.
